WORKERS' COMPENSATION

At Onyx Spine and Orthopedic Institute, we specialize in the care of injured workers.  We ensure communication between the employer, insurance carrier and worker throughout the course of treatment. Partnering with us can reduce medical costs and time lost from work with our method of care management.  We have a deep understanding of the complexities each injury may present, regardless of similar diagnosis.  Each injured worker treated undergoes a comprehensive evaluation with causation being addressed at the primary evaluation, and is updated throughout treatment as necessary.

At Onyx Spine and Orthopedic Institute, our treatment plans focus on helping the injured worker optimize their recovery to full duty and achieve maximum medical improvement (MMI) in a timely manner. Conservative treatment is encouraged until all treatment options have been exhausted. When surgery is inevitable, our orthopedic surgeons have the training and expertise to return the injured worker back to work at their optimal function in a timely, yet efficient, manner.

The physicians and the entire office staff at Onyx Spine and Orthopedic Institute take pride in our understanding of the Workers’ Compensation process.
