WORKERS' COMPENSATION

At Onyx Spine and Orthopedic Institute, we specialize in the care of the injured worker.  We are dedicated to working with both the injured worker and the employer by focusing on reducing medical costs and time lost from work through prompt communication and efficient care.  We have a deep understanding that no two patients, no two injuries, and no two cases are the same.  Each injured worker undergoes a comprehensive evaluation with causation being addressed at the primary evaluation and throughout the treatment course if indicated due to new diagnostic tests.

At Onyx Spine and Orthopedic Institute, our treatment plan surrounds helping the injured worker optimize their recovery to full duty and achieve maximum medical improvement (MMI) in a timely manner.  Nonsurgical options are almost always the first modalities of choice.  However, when surgery is necessary, be rest assured our fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon, Dr. David Minges, has the training and expertise to return the injured worker back to work at their optimal function.
